Staking with GAIA
1/2 of our profit is donated to charities that help heal planet Earth.
We also have monthly digital art rewards for delegators, and a podcast about cryptozoology!
Staking with GAIA brings value to us all!

How to Delegate with the Daedalus Wallet:
Staking with the Daedalus wallet is easy to do. Once your wallet is downloaded and set up, a few clicks is all that is needed to stake your ADA with GAIA Stake Pool.

After staking with GAIA, your rewards are sent automatically to your wallet every epoch.

Daedalus is a full-node wallet which means that it downloads, stores and validates the full copy of the blockchain so it can operate in a trustless manner and it does not rely on centrally hosted servers.

These two videos by IOHK easily explain how to install Daedalus and how to start staking your ADA.

How to Delegate with the Yoroi Wallet:
Video - Staking with Yoroi
Yoroi is a web light wallet for Cardano. Light wallets don't need to download or synchronize the blockchain. This means that once you open the wallet, you can send or verify the reception of transactions right away. Yoroi connects to trusted servers which have the full copy of the blockchain.

This video by big pey explains how to set up a Yoroi wallet for staking your ADA very easily. After your Yoroi wallet is set up, simply search for the ticker GAIA to delegate your ADA with GAIA Stake Pool.
How to Delegate with Hardware Wallets:

Staking with these hardware wallets is currently supported through Daedalus:

- Trezor Model T
- Ledger Nano X
- Ledger Nano S

This video by Kaizen Crypto explains how to connect your hardware wallet to Daedalus for easily and securely staking your ADA. After your hardware wallet is set up for staking, simply search for the ticker GAIA to delegate your ADA with GAIA Stake Pool.
How Staking / Delegating Rewards are Paid Out:
These graphic guides by PlanetStake easily explain the Cardano snapshot and rewards schedule. Each Epoch is 5 days long, and it takes 2 Epochs from your delegation before your ADA is actively staked and contributing to block production in Epoch 3.
It takes between 15 and 20 days before rewards are paid out to your wallet, depending on when in an Epoch you delegated your ADA to a stake pool. Delegating at the end of an Epoch is always better for you, as you will not lose as much time between staking and rewards.
If your stake pool does not produce a block in an Epoch your ADA is actively staked in, do not worry. Small pools do not produce blocks as often as large pools, but the rewards payout is much higher when blocks are produced. This is because rewards are not split between as many delegators.

You should at least earn about the same Return On ADA (ROA) as with a large pool, which is about 4 - 6% per year. You could even potentially earn more than that with a small pool, depending on luck and the amount of ADA you and other delegators have staked.
